About NCCI
Narayanganj Chamber of Commerce & Industry is incorporated with RJSC on 29th May 1986 whose reg. no. T.O 221/29. Narayanganj is known as the Dandi of the East; its journey started from the beginning of the twentieth century. From the beginning of the twentieth century Narayanganj Chamber was established by the European traders in 1904 AD.
After the great war of independence of Bangladesh, in 1979 the members of the Narayanganj Chamber voted to change the name of the Narayanganj Chamber to the Dhaka Metropolitan Chamber. At that time, Narayanganj Chamber address was Chamber Building 122-124, Motijheel C.A, Dhaka & Narayanganj Office address: 137 Bangabandhu Road, Narayanganj. Then Narayanganj Chamber was newly incorporated in RJSC in 1986 AD.
It is one of the most important business platforms in Bangladesh, where businessmen from Narayanganj and across the nation collaborate for growth. Narayanganj Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NCCI) serves as a hub for new market penetration, fact-based insights, and recommendations for a prosperous future in trade, commerce, and industry.
NCCI has three membership categories: General, Associate, and Trade. The Chamber is governed by a Board of Nineteen Directors representing all membership classes. Among them, a President, Senior Vice-President, and Vice-President are elected by votes. All directors are chosen by secret ballot from chamber members for a term of two years. The President serves as the Chief of the Chamber.
